Historic Architecture – Consulting

My involvement and interest in the field of historic architecture/preservation began over thirty years ago when I attended Preservation Institute: Nantucket in the summer of 1976. Sponsored by the University of Florida, this program provided hands-on training in techniques of building investigation and documentation under the direction of acknowledged experts in Historic Preservation. The following summer, I served on a HABS (Historic American Buildings Survey) field team documenting historic structures in Santa Clara, California. Since beginning my practice, I have had experience with numerous historic structures in the capacity of consulting for repairs to, reconstruction, or stabilization of the resource, research and preparation of Historic Structures Reports, and Historic Structure Assessments.
